The Clearwater Municipal Marina offer many day activies including party boat and charter fishing, sailing, Dolphin watching, parasailing, speed boat rides, and dinner cruises.

Clearwater Marine Aquarium – Located near Clearwater Beach, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium is dedicated to animal rescue and rehabilitation, research and public education. Clearwater Community Sailing Center – Enjoy sailing at the Clearwater Community Sailing Center. The CCSC has a fleet of over 40 boats available for public and member use. (Daily, Annual or Seasonal membership is required to use the boats.) Sailing courses and coaching is availble for adults, children and poeple with disabilities. Sailability Community Sail dates, held the 1st Saturday of each month introduces sailing to adult beginners and people with disabilities.

Little Toot – For a guided tour of the Clearwater harbor and the Gulf of Mexico, Little Toot is a good option with the 40-foot authentic tugboat filled with Dolphin watching adventures, sea breeze and warming sun.

Clearwater Express, the 125 passenger double deck boat is another good way to watch for Dolphins moving about in their natural habitats, sight seeing tours and scenic view of the Gulf beaches.

Area Parks

Honeymoon Island – Located at the extreme west end of State Road 586, Honeymoon Island is the site of several nature trails and bird observation areas. Visitors can swim, fish, and snorkel in the warm waters of the Gulf or picnic while they enjoy the beautiful scenery. Shelling is particularly good here, as the Gulf currents deposit an incredible variety of seashells on the shore. Showers are available and the park´s concession has a gift shop and snack bar.

Caladisi Island – One of the few completely natural islands along Florida´s Gulf Coast, Caladesi Island has been rated as the nation´s #1 best beach. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and beachcombing. Saltwater anglers can fish from their boats or throw a line out into the surf. Watch wildlife while hiking the three mile nature trail through the island´s interior or paddle a three mile kayak trail through the mangroves and bay. Pinellas Trail – Stretching from Tarpon Springs to St. Petersburg, the Pinellas Trail links some of Pinellas County’s most picturesque parks, scenic coastal areas and residential neighborhoods. The 34-mile long Pinellas Trail offers a safe place to enjoy bicycle riding, strolling or jogging.
